What we're about

This group is for people interested in learning an ancient eastern practice of folk art. Temari are decorative balls made by wrapping multiple layers of varying materials by hand to create a sphere. This sphere is then embellished with stitching techniques to create beautiful designs. The finished product is a symbol of deep friendship and loyalty. This craft form originated in China and was then introduced into Japanese culture around 7 AD.
