What we're about

Temple of the Drum has been formed to provide space for healing and growth within the spiritual community in Tucson. We are offering a variety of circles, each with a different technique for connecting with spirit, for the purpose of making desired changes in your life. We combine shamanism, drumming, Reiki and Angelic Lightarian energy work with the Law of Attraction to help manifest these changes. We also offer a socially inviting environment for people to develop and grow new spiritually based relationships. Connecting and sharing with others helps us stretch beyond our limiting beliefs and promotes a strong sense of community. This kind of support can be very beneficial and enjoyable while on our individual spiritual paths which could otherwise be challenging on our own.

Monthly Journeying Circle

Temple of the Drum

This journeying circle is open to everyone and is designed to help you facilitate guidance for yourself. You do not need to be a “shaman” or even interested in becoming a shaman. All are welcome. Many cultures over the years have used drumming to achieve states of awareness to experience inner Journeys for connecting with other worlds, their higher self, spirit guides, power animals, and other spirits. It is my belief that we are all capable of healing ourselves and bringing you closer to your goals. I believe even further that we all have the ability to help others heal. As a shamanic healing practitioner, I do not necessarily believe that I heal others but that I help them remember how to heal themselves. This ability has been lying within our very own DNA, suppressed by a world that is designed to make you feel helpless and that you need greatly educated people to cut things out or remove problems from you. Here you can learn to take back your own healing power and work with your imbalanced energy to transform it into healthy and positive energy. The ability to heal can be awakened with intent, love, and of course practice. In this Journey Circle we will dive into two shamanic journeys. After putting up the proper protection for this type of journeying experience, I will provide rhythm through my drum for this circle. The first being one of discovery, where we can ask for a guide to guide us to the possible ways of healing ourselves and/or others or receive guidance toward a goal that you have set. What form will your guide take? This exercise can be fun and a real process of discovery in and of itself. In the second journey we will try to actually facilitate some healing or begin the healing process within ourselves or get more information. Prepare to go deep within yourself and connect with your spirit and the universe. Let the sound of my drum lull you into a wonderful journey of discovery and wonder. I will hold safe space for you to take an inner journey and bridge the gap between the worlds. You can then explore your inner world and soar with eagle or swim with otter. Essential items: Comfortable outdoor chair, journey journal, bug repellent. If the the weather is good we can hold it around our koi pond. This circle is not intended to replace professional medical or psychological attention. This is a free event. So come and connect with yourself and others.
