V.A.R.I.O.U.S. Media Ink: The Visionary Artists Showcase and Networking Event

THIS VISUAL/PERFORMANCE ARTISTS' SHOWCASE IS FOR EVERYONE!

City life has a tendency to alienate people. Visual artists in particular spend countless hours alone, perfecting their craft, often at the expense of a 'normal' social life. V.A.R.I.O.U.S. MEDIA INK is an interactive event designed to bring us together in an atmosphere where, "Strangers are just friends we haven't yet met!"

Artists and photographers are invited to present DIGITAL REPRODUCTIONS of their work on a large projection screen. The audience is encouraged to participate by communicating their feelings, impressions, questions, ideas and information. Different styles of art are welcomed — airbrush, costume design, fine art, computer graphics, experimental photography — the only limitation is the stretch of your imagination.

The images serve as catalysts for group interaction; after all the artists have presented their work, people are encouraged to mingle and get to know each other better. Bring a Portfolio to share for Free Admission before 7pm.

Long term goals include a Visionary Artists Resource Center with a computerized referral and information directory, job bank, synergy-networking area, production spaces, and a computerized image storage and retrieval system to make artists works available worldwide.
