The Tennessee Voice Over Exchange (T-VOE) exists to promote, unify, and develop the VoiceOver community in Tennessee and beyond through identifying everyone’s unique values and gifts and providing tools, education, and resources to further their VoiceOver careers.
T-VOE has been a tool for VoiceOver Artists for over 5 years, and whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, this group offers a plethora of opportunities to learn and grow in the VoiceOver community.
At our monthly meetings, we host guests via Zoom and Skype from all over the world as well as locally to speak on one of three rotating topics: Marketing/Business, Performance, and Technology.
Each quarter we have a workout night where everyone can bring scripts and receive feed back from professionals within the group. This allows artists to hone the basics, learn new techniques, and experience different interpretations of their work to become well rounded.
If you decide to become a paid member of T-VOE, you will receive member benefits. These consist of casting opportunities, a discounted meeting fee, discounts at Guitar Center/GC Pro and Sweetwater.com, and raffle entries for item giveaways. You will also be invited to join the private, members only Facebook group where you can discuss casting, tech updates, and just learn about the VoiceOver community in general from the people living in it.
We meet the third Tuesday of each month at our new location - Watkins College of Art in MetroCenter. Meetings are $10 for annual members and $15 for non-members. We serve snacks at 5:30pm with a 1/2 hour dinner/networking time with announcements following at 6pm. We generally start with the program at 6:30 and end at 7:45pm.
Membership is $39/annually and we ask everyone to join here on Meetup. This allows us to honor our speakers, pay the location usage fees and pay for the annual mixer we hold each year. T-VOE is a true bargain in the VO world!
