What we’re about
(Please click on “Read more” for more information and necessary rules)
THIS IS TENNIS EDMONTON! We're the tennis loving people in Edmonton. We like to be outside in the summer to get exercise and have fun… so if you love tennis or just want to try it out, you're in the right place! When we have good weather, we're out on court playing tennis, and you'll find plenty of fun. Whether you want to play sets, hit around, or just work on your game, you’ll meet friendly people interested in exactly the same thing. In the winter we play indoors. So come join us and make new friends, get some fresh air and exercise, and have an awesome time!

GROUP RULES – PLEASE READ:
- Everyone needs a profile picture showing their face.
- Please provide 24 hours of notice if you need to change your RSVP to “no”, so others on the waitlist have the opportunity to participate. A member that has no shows or last minute cancellations might be moved to the waitlist for future events.
- Do not crash an event. If you are on the waitlist and really want to play, send us a message before the event and we will let you know if there is any room.
- Please pay the event fee at the beginning of the event, not in the middle of the game.
- Your participation in any of Tennis Edmonton’s Meetup group events is at your own risk.
- Show respect to others and exhibit good sportsmanship at all times, encourage players of all skill levels, and invite others to play.
- Be aware of and follow all applicable court and/or tennis club rules. When playing, ensure you pay any applicable guest and/or membership fees for the courts.
- No profanities or yelling while on court.
- If an issue arises, please contact the appropriate Meetup organizer to resolve it if necessary. Please avoid posting issues on the online Meetup page; organizers reserve the right to remove posts that disrupt an online Tennis Edmonton event page.
- Have fun!
