Buddhist Language Class and Meditation

Meditation and Pali studying. Pali is the only exclusively-Buddhist language in the world, spoken by the Buddha and related to Sanskrit. Led by Sri Lankan monk Bhante Sumitta, a scholar of Buddhist philosophy. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of the West in Los Angeles.

He is an ardent advocate of teaching and applying Buddhist philosophy and meditation to improve daily life.

He is the founder and president of the Univ. of the West Pali Society, where he serves as adjunct professor. As a special outreach program, he formed Dhamma US, a charitable organization that provides community and spiritual care.
