What we're about

The Agile Adventure has several purposes! Most notably, it is to help every individual understand themselves and the world better. We're specializing in Human Development (Spiral Dynamics) and modern philosophy (Integral). We believe there are many answers to be found within these subjects that explain our personal, community, political, and organizational disagreements. Anyone, everyone should join these conversations. We will also be deliberate in a variety of ways to support the Agile Coaches Community. We will learn, discuss, play games, eat, drink, and be merry! :)

Integral / Spiral Dynamics / Organizational Evolution

Online event

Come if you know everything about everything already, and come if you're a newbie, but make sure you're here. Let's start talking about these to develop ourselves and those around us. It's a lot, and I want to suggest we be guided by 'purpose,' 'pull from the future,' 'transcend and include,' and finally, 'thrive and let thrive.

Here is a list of resources, within resources I've come across that I've found helpful. I am not, nor do I think I am an expert in any of this, but I know I want to know more. I love Audible and YouTube, there are a ton of books, if that's what you prefer.

Spiral Dynamics:

Don Beck tells the story of Clare W. Graves, and Spiral Dynamics, in an easy to understand format:

Integral Theory:

Integral Theory already has a home in Agile; no doubt, we're going to learn more soon. That said, overall, it's a COMPLEX theory! Not easily digested. Here is a beginner from Ken in 2013. It's a doozy!

Systems Thinking:

One of the best talks EVER:

Organizational Evolution:

Frederick LaLoux (love his accent), author of Reinventing Organizations, gives overwhelmingly of his knowledge, and research here on his YouTube channel. I recommend this video to get the lay of the land:

A guy who talks about a lot of stuff! Some videos are about the subjects above. The others are just ones that compelled me, indeed:
