Innovation, Punishment & Humiliation and an Agile Journey - #19

Details

We are pleased to announce the next installment of the Agile Roundabout which will be hosted at Ticketmaster's office in Angel and is going to be a great mix of stories. Ticketmaster is your one stop shop for all your entertainment needs with tickets for theatre, concerts, sport, family events, clubs and more.

Simon Tarry, Director of Engineering Strategy, and John McIntyre, Head of PMO, will be talking about how the world's largest ticketing provider innovates to get you in the gig (or game, or theatre, or concert).

We will then be hearing from John Le Drew, an Agile Coach & International Speaker, who is going to discuss team dynamics - specifically punishment & humiliation. Is it ever justified? Why do we use punishment as parents, as a society or as leaders? And most importantly, does it work? Or rather, does it work the way we expect? John's talks are known for their interactivity and really good fun.

Rounding us off will be Tandem Bank - one of the fastest growing disrupter banks. Chris Ashe, the Head of Server Engineering at Tandem would like to tell the story of how their built their Agile & DevOps culture.
