God seals up the hand of every man
That all men may know his work
Job 37:7

While living in England I had the rare opportunity to complete my Masters in the Cultural Study of Cosmology and Divination at the University of Kent in Canterbury. It was there that I immersed myself in researching numerous modalities of divination and was pleased to discover a melting pot of complementary divinatory practices with my favorite being the pairing of cartomany (card reading) with chiromancy (palm reading).

In this Meetup we will combine these two divinatory arts and utilize them as valuable tools for discovering how palmistry, when combined with tarot, reveals states of mind, character and development as well as one's creativity, talent, ambition, dedication, and passion? In short, all the things about you that constitute your fate.

This will be accomplished in easy to follow steps where we will learn how to properly look at the hand as a whole in four areas:
1. General shape of the hand
2. Finger positioning, shape and length
3. The signs found in the palm?s mounds
4. Lines and marks

Once the palm is established we will then locate and match corresponding tarot cards with your hand type and palm characteristics. By the end of class you will have the tools for basic palm reading plus an understanding of the palm-card attributes.

Before signing on for this class I feel it only fair to warn you, chiromancy is addictive and will have you oddly relating to a person?s hand more than their words!

What to bring:
1. "Tarot in the Hand" under "Files" on this site (download and print out)
2. A tarot deck. There will also be several loaner decks available should you need one.
3. While not necessary, a great tool for both cards and palms is a sturdy magnifying glass. Here is are two links should you be interested in ordering one (avoid plastic if you can):
