I'm delighted to announce that Ananda LA Ministers Sean Meshorer and Brook Cassady, leaders of the Ananda LA Center (all the local Ananda Meditation groups are operating in conjunction with Ananda Los Angeles) and the Ananda LA Meditation and Spirituality Meetup Group, will be attending our first Irvine Meetup. Sean and Brook are organizing all kinds of different events and classes in the LA area on meditation, yoga, spiritual talks, kirtans, pure social fun events, and more. Feel free to attend any of those that interest you.
Sean is a spiritual teacher and business consultant for holistic companies. Sean was raised Jewish, graduated with a degree in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Stanford University (emphasis on Chinese Relgions, Early Christianity, and Moral Philosophy), and then lived, studied, and practiced meditation for fifteen years in an ashram in Northern California, based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. In addition to being a certified yoga and meditation instructor, he is also an ordained minister for Ananda. He is assisted by his wife, Brook Cassady, who is a Yoga Minister and yoga and meditation instructor, specializing in both private and corporate instruction.
The Worldiwde Ananda Community of friends and members numbers in the tens of thousands across several continents. You can learn more about Ananda LA and worldwide at www.anandala.org.
In these local meetings our main emphasis will be on both meditating together and exploring a wide range of spiritual topics.
Sean and Brook will regularly visit each local meditation group. While there, they will give updates about other happenings in the LA area and what’s going on in the wider Ananda worldwide community, answer questions, give an inspirational talk, lead special programs, and generally offer support and a change-of-pace in whatever ways you like. They look forward to seeing you often.
As you get more involved, we always welcome ideas and feedback, so don't hesitate to let us know your thoughts or how we can better serve you.
See you soon, Ron
