What we're about

The Art Workshop is much more than a place to learn art, it is place for everyone to explore self-expression and find meaningful friendships within a supportive creative community. Whether you are a seasoned artist ready to take your art further, or a beginner hungry for knowledge, this is the place! We will have free or low-cost workshops, social gatherings, and interactive discussions about promoting art. The mediums that we will be exploring are: drawing, painting, pastels, ink, collage, ceramics, jewelry and mosaics. Educators of these workshops are all professional with many years of educational experience. Our events are held in several locations in Phoenix (both the west and east side), Scottsdale, and Tempe. The Phoenix Metro area can be a lonely place for artists. It’s our goal to change that! Make ART and MAKE FRIENDS.

His loose brushwork predicts that of Impressionism and his posthumous students include both Courbet and Manet. The paintings of Jan Vermeer [masked]) of Delft are really still lives with people, solitary or in groups. He shows complete precision in the rendering of textures, colors, and shapes in serene and beautiful images of domestic life. Among his imitators are Chardin, Picasso, and Dali.
