Mining for Gold: Finding Publishable Work in Your Personal Journals

In this interactive workshop, you'll learn to review your journals for pieces to publish, and you'll get publishing advice from an experienced editor. About this Event Is there any market value to your personal writings? Would you need to alter the tone or language to make writing from your soul marketable? You will learn techniques for systematically reviewing your body of writing and “mining for gold.” You might find pieces ready to submit to journals or lines that can be used to spur more writing. Bring one paragraph (200 words) to get feedback on. We may get to workshop some participants’ paragraphs, depending on class size. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR BIPOC AND SINGLE MOTHERS.
