Bring Mindfulness & Relaxation into Your Life by Practicing Meditation
Darlene and Mukin are offering to share a variety of meditation practices and teachings every Tuesday at 7 pm to 8:30 pm in Holland Landing. The meditation techniques will include sitting and movement based practices with guidance and instructions. Also, some talks, questions and response, and readings or sharing of supportive information for deepening the understanding and retention of the core principals will be part of the program. It is a drop-by program and may be joined at anytime The benefits of such meditation practices can permeate into all areas of our life as has been shown by many scientific studies. As may be imagined, the real benefits are reaped by establishing a regular practice and we hope that the program will inspire for such commitment by the participants. Rumi has said, "“Do you pay regular visits to yourself? Start now.” Please let us know you intention to participate or RSVP as soon as possible as the space is limited. We ask for contribution of $ 10 to cover costs related to the program. What we're about

The mindfulness practices to cultivate awareness in our life are the key ingredients to develop our inherent capacity to face the challenges of our life and to support a life of wellness and focus.

The purpose of this group is to explore, cultivate, support the Art of Mindfulness Living.

The groups will explore various modalities of mindfulness in the framework of integrating them to our day to day living and thus bringing the Awareness into all aspects of our life.

The group will provide an environment and resources to cultivate the learning process for the mindfulness practices such as meditation, yoga, breathing, writing.

The group will create a supportive environment where members can be source of inspiration and motivation to work together and on their own to nurture the mindfulness practices and to share information and resources with each other.

The group intends to offer the following:

• Group mediation sessions (with introductory commentary) in meditation

• Group sessions in yoga, breathing and other practices

• Free Lecture series about the practices

• Special events - guest speakers; retreats and others at the right time during the group development process

Location: Keswick, Ontario,

Schedule: Every Monday Meditation at 6:30 pm

Cost: Suggested donation between $10 or whatever you can pay
