What we’re about
If you want to go to the cinema to see everything from the greats of yesteryear to the best films from around the world right now, this is the group for you. Don't expect to see any blockbusters from Hollywood (there are surely other groups for that), just the cream of boundary-pushing cinema in all its forms. And hopefully, we'll get to experience them in Paris's many amazing cinemas too – no trips to multiplexes. The plan is to meet, see a film and have a drink to meet properly after – when we can discuss what we loved or loathed about the film we've just seen! I hope all films will be in their original language, thus all films will have French subtitles except those that are originally French productions. People of all nationalities and languages are welcome to join the group. So please feel free to come along! Also, don't hesitate to suggest any film that you'd like to see, if it's not been scheduled. Welcome to the Paris Arthouse Film Club!
