The Artist Outpost - Art themed events and parties

This 6-class watercolor series for beginners covers the essential techniques, including color mixing, brushwork, and layering. Students work on a different painting each week while learning to paint basic washes, gradients, and textures, while exploring how to create light and depth. By the end, students will have gained the skills to confidently create their own watercolor paintings.

Kids, “walking-age” to 4 years old, can investigate and learn through inspired art and sensory experiences, a great first exposure to materials, experiments, and creativity. These workshops are student-led, meaning our mantra is “yes and” to all our children’s pursuits. Come ready to make a mess, meet new families, and have fun!
