Topic: Moving your application to Azure Kubernetes

Description:
In this session, Hussein Salman will provide an overview about microservices, containers, and Docker and then will touch on different Kubernetes concepts and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) as a managed Kubernetes cluster.

He will also show an end to end demo of the following:

  • Dockerize an existing application
  • Push containers to Azure Container Registry
  • Create Azure Kubernetes cluster and run the containers

By the end, you will learn what you need to move your containerized application to AKS.

Hussein Salman has over 12 years of experience in software development and currently works as an Architect at Avanade, mainly helping clients migrating their applications to the cloud.
