#07 Deploying Open Source for a Scalable DWH (featuring dbt)

With open source tools gaining traction and becoming the go-to option for not just PoCs but also your production stack, it is necessary to look into details of how to seamlessly scale along with your product.

Scaling can be easier, but expensive with SaaS tools. With open source tools you need to handle complexities yourself. While there is great power with having complete control over your data and stack there is a huge responsibility as well.

In this edition of the BAD meetup - Deploying Open Source for a Scalable DWH : featuring dbt, we will be hearing from notable names who have built products from scratch as part of their job as well as side projects that they are passionate about.

We will also talk in detail about the role of dbt in the open source data stack, the pros and cons of it and tips for making your dbt based stack more efficient.
