    Hi everyone

As John is unable to lead the walk I'm happy to take over and will try to cover the main points of interest that John was planning to include. The weather is proving a bit unreliable so would suggest we play it by ear as to how long we walk, and maybe drop into the Salutation Inn for a drink/bite to eat afterwards.

I will hover about in front of the cafe near the main car park and will be wearing a red waterproof jacket and carrying a green walking pole - will take a "meet up" sign with me.

Ok - was there a particular route you had in mind? and I assume we were meeting in front of the cafe?

You can get the 40 bus from Whiteladies to Blaise Castle.

I'd be grateful for a lift please - I live just off Whiteladies Rd but I can cycle to a pick up point. Thanks

Hi all, I am new to this group and would like to go on this castle walk. Unfortunately I do not drive; is there anyone coming from the general direction of St Werburghs that can pick me up? Thanks all.

For this one we'll meet in the car park on the corner near the coffee stall. Walk will be about 3 miles max and finish around 1230.

Love this area but doing too much. I can also vouch for the Toby Carvery as being good food and good value at Henbury. Have fun!
