Invitation to some Music!

To all my fellow boardgamers. I know this is a bit out of the ordinary but I am celebrating the many ways that meetup has helped me meet some wonderful people since I moved here to Vancouver.

A good friend of mine is going to be on tour this summer for her latest album. She is from Kitchener, Ontario where the rest of my family lives and is out promoting her latest album with Busted Flat Records, a small Indie label. She is a folk/country singer-songwriter with a sweet voice. I am hosting a little event for her while she is on the West Coast at the North Vancouver Legion Hall #118. The address is 123 West 15th Street in North Vancouver. The date of the event is June 8th at 8PM.

I thought it might be fun to invite some of my fellow brunchers to come out to the party. I know that you will have a great time. There is no door charge and the drinks are always cheap at the Legion. Plus I just want to be able to celebrate the many friendships I have made in my first year here in Vancouver and that includes my brunch friends.

You can also check out her music on her site: http://www.lynnjackson.net/

I hope you can make it out. It is going to be a fun night!
