Join Al and Dave Eicher for the story of Mark Twain’s travels in Michigan!
This lecture and multi-media presentation is the product of several years of research and a collection of vintage photographs that is still growing.
Al and Dave also obtained Twain’s diary in which the world-famous author made many interesting comments about the St. Clair Flats, as well as sites that he passed on the way to Mackinac Island and other parts of Michigan. Along with Twain’s Michigan travels, this presentation—which includes 150+ photographs—creates a timeline spanning the decades from Twain’s early childhood in the 1850s through adulthood.
