This time I'll cover the basics of wireless communication with the popular NRF24L01 and how to use a magnetic reed switch to trigger an alarm. This project will simulate a very basic security system (door opens, send signal to another arduino).
I'll provide the hardware (except your Arduino of course), so I'll have to charge a cover fee. The cost will be $20/ea. I'll provide some breadboards resistors and jumper wires as well. Ideally everything you need to complete the project, minus an Arduino. I can buy items in bulk much cheaper than by going to sparkfun or other websites this way!
I'll need to know ASAP how many people want to come, so that I can purchase enough hardware! Spaces are limited so sign up now!
ALL SLOTS NOW TAKEN - I have no hardware left.
We'll be meeting in the Deborah Sampson room at the NERD center.
