Join me for a 7 mile walk around Cullingworth
Walking up Station Road to reach the disused railway line we cross Hewenden Viaduct, with a great views overlooking Hewenden Reservoir and the valley on the opposite side. Continuing on to reach Manywell Heights, and then a lane path to cross Haworth Road. We walk on lanes and field paths to Lees Moor and reach Keighley Road. Another Lane takes past Catstones Moor and Hunter Hill. A little road walking brings to a path leading down to pass Goit Stock cottages and through Goit Stock wood and its waterfall, then field paths back to our start. Obviously there are going to be some muddy section on this walk! Good walking boots and suitable winter walking gear are essential to make your walk even more enjoyable! We will be stopping at various stages for drinks etc, and a longer break for lunch (weather dependant). Please be aware of your own safety and that of your fellow walkers along the route. Dogs are allowed, but should be on a leash when there are livestock about.

Thanks for looking at this group.

Before you decide on joining, please read the following.

We are not affiliated to ramblers Yorkshire (part of the Ramblers Association) We are a separate walking group entirely. If you need to find further info on their walks please go to:

    http://www.ramblersyorkshire.org

Our walk leaders are not generally fully qualified but we take safety on the walks very seriously and check out the routes in advance to the best of our abilities.

For extra info click here (http://www.meetup.com/The-Bradford-Ramblers/boards/thread/48587042)

On a final note of caution

If you are running late or unable to come, PLEASE contact the walk leader to let them know. Walk hosts will generally give anything up to 15 minutes grace period but it is unfair to keep a large group waiting for long.

As with other groups within Meetup, we offer a 3 strikes policy. This means that if you fail to let the walk leader know about walks that you have RSVP'd to and do not show up, then you will get an email reminder and may be removed from the group.

Also, please note that if you have not visited the site or not attended a walk in 12 months, you may be removed from the group. However, you can re-join again at anytime.

For more information. Please read our disclaimer here (http://www.thebradfordramblers.com/messages/boards/thread/32917202)

Thank you for reading this information.
