Formerly known as the Raleigh Triathlon Training group, we thought we would start a group that better reflects who we are. We are a group of people who love to run! More importantly we love to run together! We meet several times a week for early morning runs in and around downtown Raleigh that include great company and conversations. There is always someone training for a marathon or half marathon so if you're looking for someone to get lots of miles with you'll find it. If you want to just add running to your weekly routine you can do that too! We have paces ranging from sub 8s to 10+. Feel free to message me with any questions!
Join us for a sub 8- 10:00 minute mile pace(we have a big range) for 4ish miles. Some of us do a 3 mile loop starting at 5:31 if you would like more distance. Those miles are usually on the faster side. We come back to meet everyone else at 6. A friendly and supportive group. Look forward to meeting you!
Burpees, hill sprints, squats, planks, leap frog, airing of grievances! HIIT geared toward runners; we'll use the swings, stairs, benches. Something different every week-themes,we've even had costume days. But mostly just show up, prepare to sweat.
Join a few fellow runners for a semi-long run on Thursday morning. We meet at Cafe Carolina and run around 5 miles around a sub 8 - 11:00 pace(our group has range). We alternate between 2 different fun routes. One route takes us through downtown and the other one is a bit more challenging that involves The Hill on Fairview. See you on Thursday!
Some of us add on a 3 mile loop starting at 5:30 to make it 8-8.5 miles total. We loop back at 6 to meet everyone else! Let us know if you would like to join us!
