With Google's recent move of changing it's ranking algorithms, it's becoming more and more important to create websites that are firstly mobile-friendly and secondly responsive. Designing for legacy browsers makes this tough but as of 2015, Flexbox is supported by all major browsers including IE10+. What is Flexbox?
