The Brooklyn Board Games Meetup Group is for anyone in the New York City area looking to play board and card games. Whether you enjoy parlor games or Twilight Imperium, you'll be able to find people to play with you.
We have a weekly meetup called Games with Strangers, which takes place on Saturday evenings from 7-11 pm at the Brooklyn Strategist. While every week has featured games, the store's library of 850 games is at your disposal. Staff members are also on hand to facilitate learning new games. Please note that there is a $10 fee for admission at the Strategist.

The Brooklyn Strategist is your friendly community board game cafe. We love seeing you for Magic drafts, games of Malifaux, RPG campaigns, and talking about the character from your RPG campaign even if you aren't actually playing today. But you know what we also love? Board games! The best of the best. So why not come down to your community board game store to play board games with your community!?
Queer Board Game Night is our monthly meetup for queer gamers to try the best of our 700+ game library and to hang out with the coolest people in Brooklyn (by our reckoning, anyway). Our host Finlay will get you settled and make sure you have everything you need to get conquering, guessing, and/or farming and our cafe will ensure that you have a beer or dinner to keep you at your best.
