Sociidot, Robb Bohnke, and WeShelter!

Details
Hi all!
Time to regroup for the first #BKiOSMeetup of 2014. Come for the good company, stay for the great iOS tips and tricks!
Sociidot (http://www.sociidot.com/) (@sociidot (https://twitter.com/sociidot))
Esther Kuperman, CEO at Marketers Anonymous, will discuss the UI/UX of her app, Sociidot - a goal app that breaks aspirations into smaller, actionable 'dots.'

Robb Bohnke (http://robb.is/)
Robb will introduce the open source library, ReactiveCocoa (https://github.com/ReactiveCocoa/ReactiveCocoa), as a programming tool.
ReactiveCocoa is an implementation of functional reactive programming (http://blog.maybeapps.com/post/42894317939/input-and-output). Rather than using mutable variables which are replaced and modified in-place, RAC provides signals (represented by RACSignal) that capture present and future values.
By chaining, combining, and reacting to signals, software can be written declaratively, without the need for code that continually observes and updates values.
WeShelter (http://weshelter.org/)
WeShelter, currently in beta, helps connected users locate the homeless and ultimately help them toward shelter. The WeShelter team will discuss technical issues they faced, with a special focus on custom in-app navigation and reliable user action tracking.
