Evaluation of Swift's Production Readiness
Ash Furrow is a Canadian iOS developer and author, currently working at Artsy (https://www.artsy.net/). He has published four books, built many apps, and is a contributor to the open source community. On his blog, he writes about a range of topics, from interesting programming to explorations of analogue film photography. He will use his recent real-world experience with Swift as a case study in an evaluation of Swift's production readiness. Take advantage of the lessons he learned to make the best decisions about Swift in your project.

Google Maps API on iOS with Swift
Arun will speak on building Google Maps based apps on iOS with Swift (instead of all the Objective C samples they had). He currently leads technology at funded NYC startup that is still in stealth mode. Before jumping into the startup world, Arun was an engineer at Google with the Developer Relations team to help build compelling applications and services using all of Google technologies. Prior to Google, Arun spent over 9 years at a Boston area company leading a team building a cross-platform mobile application development framework for large enterprises. Arun has a BS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. Arun resides in New York City but still loves the outdoors.
