Welcome to The Bundaberg Social Meetup! We are a group of like-minded people coming together for some social activities and adventure.

When a new event has been scheduled you will be sent a message announcing it and giving details. You can read about the event, and if you would like to attend, press the ‘Attend’ button on the app and your name will be added to those members attending. Many events allow you to bring a guest if you so choose.

If you haven’t already done so, please include a photo of yourself in the app. This will make it easier for other members to remember your name.

If you’d like to suggest an activity that you and others may be interested in attending, please speak with the host of the next event that you attend.

You may wish to attend functions organised by other Meetup groups. Just search on the Meetup App for activities that you’re interested in.

New members are welcome to attend events in the first month of joining. After the first month new members are asked to contribute at the rate of $2 per month times the number of months to the end of December. For example, those who join in July would pay $2 per month x 6 months = $12 into the following account to continue membership.

For the full year of membership in 2025, existing members are asked to contribute $24 towards the cost of the website to keep it running. These funds are debited directly by the MeetUp organisation for the use of the app, so it is not possible to provide refunds. Your payment is to cover only the website fees. All organisers and hosts are volunteers and do not receive any money for organising events.
