Romance Novel Writing
Details
Working on a romance novel or a novel that has a romance sub-plot: romantic suspense, paranormal, historical romance, teen romance, christian, rom-coms, mystery-romance, sci-fi romance ... our manuscript group meets every other Thursday 6-8 PM via ZOOM. Members need to have completed at least 20 pages of a novel in progress that can be workshopped with the group. Participants take turns submitting up to 20 pages of their works in progress for group critique. Generally, two members are critiqued at each meeting. For NEW Members: Prior to joining, please send a request email with an introduction and details about your work to workshop leader, Vicky, at geteducated (at) comcast (dot) com. Attendees will not be admitted without this step and approval. Please note this is not an instructional course on how to write a romance novel but a small ongoing group where members critiques each others works in progress. Authors may be published or unpublished. If you don't have at least 20 pages of a novel completed and ready for critique consider joining one of the other groups offered through the Burlington Writers Workshop, such as Writing with Spirit or the Open Genre Writing group where short works may be created and refined.
