*Instructor: Shannon

*This class is good for: Students at the beginning-intermediate level who have completed a beginner class already (either Comprehensive Beginner’s 1, Divertente 1, or the equivalent) and want to strengthen their skills by improving their mastery of verbs.

*Description of class: This class is really all about drills! In this class we'll spend the first 6 classes learning the infinitives of 150+ verbs and how to conjugate them in the simple present. In the remaining 6 classes we'll learn the future, the imperfect (past), and the progressive tenses. Regular and irregular verbs; -are, -ere, -ire.

*Homework: You will be expected to memorize the verbs each week they are assigned (not as bad as it seems, I promise!) and to complete the exercises in the workbook that are assigned. It’s also recommended that you practice conjugation during the week to keep your skills sharp.

*Price: $80 for 12 weeks ($70 for cardholders), due at the first class you attend by cash or check (note that checks will not be cashed until after the 2nd class, after you’ve decided that you want to continue).

*Materials needed before class starts: We will use the textbook “Italian Verb Drills” 3d Ed by Paolo Nanni-Tate; please purchase before the class begins (you can find it on Amazon here http://tiny.cc/ndm02w for about $11).
