I am very excited to read some history, well historical fiction, in June! Radium Girls by Kate Moore is a well researched narrative on the lives of factory girls. As one amazon reviewer, Kasia Olm, put it, "The suffering, the indifference, the greed, the lies, the audacity... 90 years later it is still easy to imagine it happening over and over again."
We will meet at the Long Room is a relaxed bar and coffeehouse with a large, rotating list of beers. Bring cash for the photobooth in the back. They have food provided by the Biscuit Man, a separate company with a food counter in the venue.
We have a reservation for the long table at the left on the raised platform. Just walk straight through the bar.
