What do you like most about creating games?

Games encompass all of my creative interests that can be found in music, film, audio, visual arts, setting (level) design, all in one interactive package.

How would you describe your level of experience in game development?

I consider myself a novice to intermediate game developer. But have plenty of experience in designing ideas for many years over many genres.

Is game creation something you do for fun, or is it more of a professional interest? Please describe.

Definitely for fun. I tried to create a start up in Cleveland 10 years ago but could not get enough synergy to make money. Since then I have done it just for fun, and I have absolutely zero regrets.

What part of game dev are you most into? Programming, animating, AI, 3D modeling, marketing, etc?

Overall I feel I am best at design, which is a mix of all subjects. That's what I love about making games. I typically stay away from 3D. But what I feel most games lack today is a refined and focused game-play model. I would like to get into tighter game-play with my games.

I am a programmer / consultant who has been building games and game concepts for over 20 years. I enjoy hearing about concepts and new technologies with others.
