What do you like most about creating games?

I enjoy designing and creating visual and functional content for games because I lose track of reality. Getting focused on something that is a constant puzzle is the key to happiness, at least for me :).

How would you describe your level of experience in game development?

I'm not necessarily a game developer, so I would say I have a some experience in game development. I have experience with a lot of same triumphs and issues as a game developer while working with software engineers as a computer artist, so I would imagine it's fairly similar.

Is game creation something you do for fun, or is it more of a professional interest? Please describe.

I've been involved in a number of professional efforts in the "Serious Games" realm. I have done quite a few tutorials with XNA Studio, Unity 3D, Blender Game Engine and PyGame. I have never released a title on my own, though.

What part of game dev are you most into? Programming, animating, AI, 3D modeling, marketing, etc?

I'm mostly into creating 3D Character art, 3D Environments, rigging, animation and GUI development. I mostly create the visual side of games (front end developer) and I also enjoy concept development. I almost have one toe in the water on game logic, but that is something that would be better left in the hands of a computer scientist.

I'm a 3D/2D computer artist from Columbus, Ohio. I work by day creating 3D/2D graphics for software. On my free time I design 3D Characters and improve my programming skills.
