I have been able to negotiate a really good deal for a first day of trekking to a remote outcrop (and centuries old ruins) accessible only by speed boat from Dibba, overnight glam camping exclusively for for group in the middle of a date plantation (with cots/showers/toilets etc), all meals including bonfire and BBQ dinner and a choice of three activities - beginner rock climbing or sea kayaking or wadi biking on day two. Transport to and back to Dibba on an exclusive bus for us from the dubai marina mall car Park is also included.
The whole package will be provided to us by Absolute Adventures ( http://www.adventure.ae ) which is led by Alex Sirman (who is considered one of the most experienced, and most reliable, providers of the service in the region).
Their standard rates, per head, are -
AED100 - for transport to and from Dubai to Dibba in an exclusive Bus
AED700 - for the Aqaba lima trek

Booking Process:
-
Please RSVP as soon as possible if you are interested. I will wait till we have 20 attending before signing up for this trip (at these rates and terms) with Alex at Absolute Adventures. Following this I will send you their contact details and how to book etc.
-
You book and make your payments directly to Absolute Adventures and provide them with your passport copy etc. so that they can process (They need a minimum of a week to process).
-
Most nationalities with UAE Residence visas or tourist visas/ stamps for the UAE can go to Dibba in Oman without hinderance. It is however your responsibility to discuss and sort it out with Alex.
Caveats
-
Exclusive bus transport, mainly exclusive camping facilities and the discount are dependent on us achieving a total of 30 attending.
-
If we are a smaller group then some of these logistical issues may have to be amended or costs may move up.
