☛ Babashka and the Small Clojure Interpreter: using Clojure in new contexts
Babashka is a native Clojure scripting tool. It allows you to execute Clojure expressions and scripts with instant startup time. It comes with several handy libraries included like tools.cli, cheshire and also supports a wide selection of Java classes like System, Math and java.time.* .
Babashka is powered by the Small Clojure Interpreter, which gives you the power of clojure.core/eval in constrained environments such as GraalVM-compiled executables or CLJS applications compiled with advanced optimizations.
In this talk we will get an overview of the features and challenges of babashka and sci.
