Everything up to the end of 2009 was pretty standard for Chris Ducker, a hard-working entrepreneur with a thirst for growth and profits. He was working 14-hour days, six days a week, spending little time with his family and working ‘in’ his business, instead of ‘on’ it.
Sure, he loved his 200+ employee business and the focus of building it, but Chris was tired. In every possible way. After reading The 4-Hour Workweek he put a one year goal in place – to completely replace himself in his business as much as possible by the end of 2010 – a goal he achieved 11-months later.
Chris no longer works more than 6-7 hours a day, and his work week no longer includes Friday. He’s more focused than ever, his businesses are more successful than ever, and he now gets to spend lots of time with his wife and three amazing children.
Chris will be discussing:
-
His journey of going from 14 hour days to becoming a ‘Virtual CEO’
-
Top tips on how to work with virtual staff
-
How to buy more time, be more productive and build the business of your dreams
-
Importance of leveraging time
-
Importance of personal brand
-
How you can integrate these tips into your business

ELEVATOR PITCHES
We've been having a bit of a ponder of late as to how we can help our fab members reach their dreams. We'd like to introduce something to help boost everyone's networking efforts with that 'something' being elevator pitches.
For anyone that doesn't know, an elevator pitch is a succinct and persuasive pitch that should be no more than 30 seconds and deems to get people interested or asking questions.
So, if you're willing, prepare a 30 second elevator pitch we'll be welcoming around 10 brave people on stage to deliver theirs. This might consist of explaining your business, idea, reason you're at the event or what you're looking for, anything is welcome!
Drop us a message in the comments area below if you're interested!
VENUE UPDATE
Our fantastic new venue for the meetup will be Google Campus (third floor). It's a 5-10 minute walk from Liverpool street station.
The venue seats up to 75 people, with the rest standing.
