Top Tips To Automate Your Business & Become A ‘Virtual CEO’

  • Apr 28, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We are SUPER EXCITED to welcome ‘Virtual CEO’ Chris Ducker to our '4 Hour Work Week' meetup stage. Chris is an 'Amazon bestselling author' who is based in the Philippines and has kindly given time out of his busy stop over in London. We're also delighted to say that Chris will also be giving out copies of his book at this meetup! (limited to 80 attendees)

He will be speaking about the best ways to to work with 'virtual assistants', be more productive and build the business of your dreams.

Everything up to the end of 2009 was pretty standard for Chris Ducker, a hard-working entrepreneur with a thirst for growth and profits. He was working 14-hour days, six days a week, spending little time with his family and working ‘in’ his business, instead of ‘on’ it.

Sure, he loved his 200+ employee business and the focus of building it, but Chris was tired. In every possible way. After reading The 4-Hour Workweek he put a one year goal in place – to completely replace himself in his business as much as possible by the end of 2010 – a goal he achieved 11-months later.

Chris no longer works more than 6-7 hours a day, and his work week no longer includes Friday. He’s more focused than ever, his businesses are more successful than ever, and he now gets to spend lots of time with his wife and three amazing children.

Chris will be discussing:

-  His journey of going from 14 hour days to becoming a ‘Virtual CEO’

- Top tips on how to work with virtual staff

- How to buy more time, be more productive and build the business of your dreams

- Importance of leveraging time

- Importance of personal brand

- How you can integrate these tips into your business

Chris Ducker is a serial entrepreneur, international speaker and author of the new book, "Virtual Freedom: How to Work with Virtual Staff to Buy More Time, Become More Productive and Build Your Dream Business"

He’s also the founder of Virtual Staff Finder, the world’s number one VA match-making service, as well as a popular keynote speaker, blogger and podcaster.

ELEVATOR PITCHES

We've been having a bit of a ponder of late as to how we can help our fab members reach their dreams. We'd like to introduce something to help boost everyone's networking efforts with that 'something' being elevator pitches.

For anyone that doesn't know, an elevator pitch is a succinct and persuasive pitch that should be no more than 30 seconds and deems to get people interested or asking questions.

So, if you're willing, prepare a 30 second elevator pitch we'll be welcoming around 10 brave people on stage to deliver theirs. This might consist of explaining your business, idea, reason you're at the event or what you're looking for, anything is welcome!

Drop us a message in the comments area below if you're interested!

VENUE UPDATE

Our fantastic new venue for the meetup will be Google Campus (third floor). It's a 5-10 minute walk from Liverpool street station.

The venue seats up to 75 people, with the rest standing.

The sponsors pitch was irritating. I hate those kinds of scams :/ Apart from that, the Event was very well organised. The speaker was very well prepared and (looking at the audience) delivered value. Thanks guys.

Damn tube strike, I'd need 3 lines to get me there. If they call it off last minute like last time I'll defo be there. Otherwise if you're recording it please post the link on the Meetup Group.

    April 28, 2014

    • Dave N.

Um, the strike doesn't start until 9:30pm! You can get to and from the event before it starts, and even once it's started, there are still thousands of buses all over London, and not all the lines are closing.

      1 · April 28, 2014

    • Dave N.

There are so many ways to get around London, excluding the tube. Check out the excellent free Citymapper web/mobile app for more information: https://citymapper.com

Can’t make this one I’m afraid. But hopefully next time.

    I’ll give myself a shout-out nonetheless:
We write big LOUD powerful words which make a lot of noise and get your business heard.

If you need some creative copywriting (website content, blogging, slogans, branding, press releases etc), feel free to get in touch.

    Here’s our site: http://www.creative-copywriter.net

Have fun at the event! :)
