Bear Brook State Park Mountain bike ride

Bear Brook State Park Mountain bike ride

Details

My Birthday is October 17th so I figured that i'd celebrate with a rare Saturday off by riding the trails at New Hampshire's biggest state park Bear Brook. I've never been to this park before so this will be an exploratory type of ride. I will have a map and GPS so hopefully we won't get too lost. We'll ride at a casual pace with the emphasis on having fun and exploring the parks many trails with semi-frequent stops to enjoy the sights and views. Mileage will be anywhere from 8-25 miles. After the ride we'll have dinner at a local eating establishment in Manchester, location TBD.

Things to bring;

A mountain bike (No Hybrids) in good working order. If your bike needs tuned, let me know and we can meet earlier at the park and I can do a tune-up on your bike since I'll have a full range of bike tools and a repair stand with me (I am a bike mechanic by profession!!).

Plenty of water for an entire day of riding!! Camelback preffered or at minimum 2 water bottles.

A bike helmet. Mandatory!! I will not ride with people who do not wear helmets. Absolutely no exceptions!!

Snacks to refuel with while on the trail.

Extra inner-tubes for your bike, even if your bike is equipped with tubeless tires!!

A fun attitude!!

PLEASE include your cell number when you RSVP so I can contact you in case of running late, etc. If you don't want to post it on this site then please private message it to me. If you're running late or if I don't now that you're coming, and i can't call you or you don't call me to let me know, we're likely to start the ride without you. Thanks.
