Ice Age Training Run #1
From the Ice AGe 50 Facebook Page: The first of two Ice Age training runs will be held on Saturday, Apr 21 starting at 7:30 am at the Nordic trailhead. We'll mark a 35-mile course, consisting of a Nordic loop and and an out-and-back to Rice Lake. A minimalist aid station will be set up at Hwy 12 (miles 18 & 26) with water, Heed and a few snacks. You don't have to run the entire distance, but why not? (For shorter distance options, see the RD before the run.) The Ice Age training runs are open to everyone. The second training run of 19 miles will be held on the following Saturday. See you there!

What we're about

Public Group

The Glacial Trail Running Group is a diverse group of runners who like to run all distances and speeds, and also like to motivate their fellow runners to meet and exceed their running goals. This group is perfect for runners of all skill levels. We run all year long irrespective of how warm or cold it is.

The new name for the group as of Fall 2016 reflects the current members love of trail running. Most of our Meetups and events involve a run on trails. However most of our members run on roads during the week and will do road races of varying lengths. In fact we've got some really fast road runners in the group right now.

New trail runners are very welcome to join us. You'll be hooked on the beauty and challenge of the area trails.

Membership fee is $5 per year and is due at time of joining and then every year thereafter. The dues are required to keep the Meetup group active on the site. Other than that funds are used for various outings or activities throughout the year.

We hope you find a run that fits your schedule and we look forward to seeing you soon!!
