The Healing Heart Above all else, love makes us happy. It brings joy to our hearts and meaning to our lives. It connects us to each other and world that surrounds us. It satisfies our soul.
In this healing circle we will work to uncover the love that is always there, waiting for us. A love that can teach us to care for ourselves. A love that lifts us up so that we can love our enemies as well as our friends. An unconditional love that can help us realize that we are embraced by this living universe. We will work with time-honored meditative practices from the great wisdom traditions to experience this love and bring it into our daily lives.
In this first session we will focus on cultivating love for others as well as for ourselves. To experience a love that flows equally in both directions. A balanced love that does not grasp for another, but stands equal, and flows soul to soul. The foundation for this type of love comes from loving ourselves first; perhaps the most challenging love of all. To work on healing these internal wounds, we will use the gentle lovingkindness meditations from the Buddhist tradition.
We hope you can join us.
