Long time Houston resident (30+ years). Retired, visited central america (Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua) and after trip to Nica, realized I really need to learn Spanish if I'm going to go back and spend more time.
What do you expect from this meetup group?
To acquire better listening skills, more confidence in speaking spanish and proper grammar.... and OH... advance from a Beginner to a more intermediate spanish speaker.
What are your interests and hobbies?
Love riding my motorcycle, bowling, day trips to interesting places and long weekends to the Texas hill country, dining out, .... guess that's enough..

Duolingo, Visual Link Spanish and a heafty stack of 'Practice Makes Perfect' study guides on grammar, verbs, prepositions and pronouns along with tons of good information on the internet.
