"Nuxt.js & Universal Apps" - JS Roundabout #18 @ Gousto

Thanks! JS Roundabout #18 will take place at Gousto's offices in Shepherds Bush, where we'll be discussing Nuxt. Firstly, we will be hearing from Matt Young (Gousto), who will be providing us with an intro to the subject of Nuxt, what it is and why it was built, and also provide some context around the idea of universal apps. We will then hear from Mark Gono of Gousto, with a talk entitled 'Working with AMP: A journey into Vue.js and Nuxt'. In this talk, Mark will explore the journey undertaken on the way to creating a Google AMP server-side rendering application to support SEO at Gousto. He'll then talk about why Gousto chose AMP, their stack and their experience using Vue and Nuxt – all from the viewpoint of a React engineer. Finally, we will hear from Alessandro Giordo (Vodafone). Alessandro Awill provide us with a guide on how to set up a free headless CMS using WordPress and Nuxt.js Pizza and beer/wine/soft drinks will be provided as usual - look forward to seeing you all there!
