Node Node Node!

Details
We are pleased to announce another Node focused JS Roundabout on Tuesday 5th September at 6pm, which will be hosted by highly innovative FinTech company Paybase. We have 3 talks on Node for you at what promises to be a cracking evening of JavaScript learnings!
Paybase is a London-based FinTech company providing an end-to-end solution for payments, compliance and risk – all rolled into one unified API.
Joe Harlow, Head of Engineering at Paybase, will be exploring the implementation of CSP (Communicating Sequential Processes) in JavaScript with Async/Await, its use cases and how they leverage it at Paybase.
We will then jump into a talk by Ulpian Morina from Reason, who will present a talk on how AWS Lambdas execute nodejs, and if nodejs' strengths are still effective in such an environment.
Our 3rd speaker is now confirmed as James Wright from JavaScript Consultancy YLD. James is going to talk to us about ECMAScript Proxies in Node.js. The Proxy constructor, first defined in the ECMAScript 2015 standard, allows one to intercept and alter the behaviour of existing JavaScript APIs and other operations. After briefly introducing this capability, James will tell us how it can be used in conjunction with Node.js in a variety of scenarios.
