What we're about

This group is intended for anyone interested in creative photography. All skill levels are welcome. Like all artistic work, photography skills need to be developed, practiced, and mastered to foster the creative process and to make photographic images to be proud of.
We will primarily be an outdoor group, focusing on landscape, travel, and street photography, while also practicing some portrait work. Our meetup events are designed to help you become more aware of your surrounding environment and give you the tools to capture the story you wish to tell through your photography. There will be a good mix of instruction, hands-on practice and feedback to help everyone with questions and improve their skills. Topics covered will include camera settings, image composition, and shooting techniques in various lighting conditions.
Each meetup event will focus on developing a particular skill set in a fun way. Locations will vary and we will aim to accommodate public transit users.
