What we're about

Our members paddle, bike, walk and hike. Whatever there is to do outdoors under our own power is what we do.

This is a PARTICIPATORY outdoors meetup group. No one person does it all. Each of the members plan and host events in accord with their interests. And all the members participate in any of the events that interest them.

So don’t join us with the notion of sitting back and letting everyone else do the work all the time. Join us with the idea of pitching in with one event a year and enjoy with the rest of us a full calendar of opportunities to get outside with like-minded souls.

The group is meant to be a vehicle for all of us to use to plan outdoor events and get together in real life and enjoy the outdoors and each others’ company. An event can be as complex as an overnight camping trip or as simple as a walk around the block. Whatever you do can become a fun social event if you invite others along.

So, sign yourself up, come along on some events and get to know us. When you’re ready to plan your very own event and invite others to join you, let the Organizer know.
