Do you build plugins or want to learn more about the process? Do you want to learn about WordPress development in general? If so, we've got some exciting news for you!
In addition to our standard monthly WordPress meetup, we are adding a second meetup specifically for WordPress developers.
The Advanced WordPress Developers meetup will take place on the 2nd Monday of every month, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at Work In Progress in Downtown Las Vegas.
We are currently brainstorming what "advanced" topics we are going to talk about. We have four advanced categories in mind:
1) Advanced WP Round-Ups -- A listicle about things folks shared in the AWP sites, slack and groups/forums.
2) What's Advanced about WP? -- Deep dive into Core functions that allow you to do more advanced things.
3) Advancing WP -- Things happening in the broader WP Community that push the project forward in more developer-friendly ways and how others can contribute to it.
4) How are we Advancing WP -- Case Studies on doing something advanced and awesome with WP.
Bring your ideas, knowledge, experience and let's start helping each other be better developers by evolving our WP developer's community.
