Interesting read from the Wall Blog: Forget the ‘Store of the Future’; brands need to think about the store of tomorrow...

How powerful is location going to become for brands and marketeers? Is it just about brands selling more product or is there customer value to be gained for knowing location specific data.....nice one for a Friday....

I believe is a bit of both. Online tools for search can reach beyond the human eyes but the retail experience happens at the brick and mortar location. Best of both worlds!

Agreed the divide between what brands and retailers know about a customer online verse how much they know about them when they walk in a shop is huge. This gap will be closed.
