Meet and Meal at Big Town Restaurant

It has been a very long time since we met in person for a meal. We are pleased to announce that we are having our next meetup at Big Town Restaurant in South London.

Big Town serves delicious Nigerian and West African food and the team have offered us a great set menu.

We will be meeting at 7pm on Saturday 19th June 2021 and the event is fully hosted for 2 hours. Please be ready to order at 7pm.

Big Town’s set menu comes with 3 courses and has a good range of options. The cost is £21 and must be paid in advance. Please note there are NO REFUNDS.

The set menu includes one complimentary drink and all other drinks will need to be paid for at the bar when you place your order. There is no table service for drinks.

The team at Big Town have provided a menu that includes vegetarian options and allergen information is also listed.

We have 10 tickets available. Final numbers will be sent to Big Town 24 hours before the event. The closing date for booking your ticket is 7pm on 18th June.

From the train station is about a 20 mins walk. You may want to take a bus from Elephant and Castle. Buses: 12,68,148,171,176,468 get off at the East Street bus stop. The bus journey is about 10 mins. Check TfL for more transport information.

Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately, there are NO REFUNDS. So please be sure you can attend.
Can I reserve a ticket?

No reservations are possible as we have a limited number of tickets. Payment must be made when booking.

I can’t pay on meetup

Can I bring a friend not on the group?
Yes, absolutely fine! But please book 2 tickets in advance. But remember there are NO REFUNDS and if you and/or your friend can’t make it we are unable to give refunds.

I can’t make the event, can I get this menu if I order online?
This is a special menu for the London Taste of Africa group. If you would like to order food at Big Town, please reserve a table via the website. Alternatively, get the food delivered via Deliveroo, Ubereats or Just Eats
