What we're about

The London Umbraco Meetup Group is a monthly meetup for Umbraco devotees and newbies to come along, learn and share their knowledge and to also gently spread the umbraco love to all.

We aim to meet each month, where you can have a chat and a beer with other fellow Umbracians.

We also try and mix it up by having talks by both Umbraco and non-Umbraco Users on the latest releases, news and demos of packages and functions. We also encourage you to demo your latest cool work.

Community is important to us,

We are open to all and sundry who have an interest in Umbraco and/or CMS's in general, so you are welcome to come along and meet the lovely people making Umbraco community what it is!

Where and when do we we meet,?

We tend to rotate our location around London (we tend to stay east because that is where a large number of people are based) but are always looking for new and interesting venues for meetups. We try and meetup on the Second Thursday of each month, find out exactly when on Twitter, Meetup.Com, Skrift and the usual Umbraco channels.

We typically have 10-15 people for the general social meetups and as many as 40 for the larger ones and we aim to grow and try different things, these will include Hackathons, Workshops(fingers-crossed) and Code-Clinic, Round Table and the infamous Umbraco London Christmas Pub Quiz.

If you are interested in giving a talk or hosting at one of our meet-ups, please get in touch with Ravi, Lotte or one of the other organisers via the Meetup.com Group
