Hello and welcome to the world's most active English Meetup!
We are also the largest ESL Meetup group in the United States!
If you'd like to practice what you've learned in your English class, then this is the group for you. Our group's goal is to help you feel more comfortable speaking in English when you're out in the real world.
My name is Signe, and I've been teaching English as a second language for more than twenty years.
As someone who has studied in another country, I know what it's like to live in an unfamiliar place and not know anyone.
With ESL Click's English Conversation Club, you'll have fun and make new friends in the process!
We have free weekly conversation meetings every Tuesday and Saturday for all levels.
This group is for English learners. This is not a language exchange, and we aren't currently looking for volunteers.
Make sure to add the Meetup app to your phone to get alerts if there are any changes to the schedule.

Hi Everyone!
This is a free online meeting for all of us to meet and talk a little bit in English.
Even if you don't live in Los Angeles, you can still attend this meeting!
Members are put into small groups (in virtual rooms) and can talk about anything they'd like. But if you don't know what to talk about, or need any help, I'm an ESL teacher and will always be nearby.
To join, click on the Zoom link. If that doesn't work, you can copy and paste the link into your browser. If you're new to our group, look for an email from Zoom when you try to sign in for the first time.
A few rules:
It is very important that you cancel your RSVP if you can't attend a meeting. Members who are often no-shows (signed up but didn't show up) may be removed from the group.
Please use your Meetup name when signing in. If I don't recognize the name, I won't let the person in.
Finally, members must have their camera on during meetings.*
*If you can't show your image because of cultural and/or religious reasons, please contact me, and I'll make an exception.
And it's totally okay if you're late or have to leave early!

Hey Everyone!
Are you a non-native English speaker with a need to communicate more clearly and confidently?
English is not the easiest language to speak, and I'm here to help.
I'm an ESL teacher, and I specialize in assisting students with their pronunciation.
Classes will be $6 for one hour. You can pay with PayPal or Venmo.
It would be a good idea to have some paper and something to write with, but it's not required.
And all materials that are provided are free!
This week, we'll be learning the silent "th" sound, as in "think".
Once you sign up, please message me your email address. Only members who've given me their email address and paid in advance - at least one hour before the class starts - will be sent an invite.
